Anderson buying Mooresville Dragway was erroneous. Track

AMATO, HERBERT JOIN FORCES
The rumored joining of team Herbert and Amato evidently
is a done deal. One of the Agent's operatives says he saw

Agent found out that Herbert has signed Canadian Rob Flynn
who, along with vet Jim Brissette, will tune the Snap-on

MOORESVILLE BOUGHT BY ANDERSON?
The Agent heard a stout rumor that Greg Anderson has upped
the ante to play in the NHRA Pro Stock game by purchasing
the 1/8th mile Mooresville Dragway, which is located just
about a mile from Anderson's shop in Mooresville, NC. Apparently
Anderson will spiff up the track and track surface so he
will have a place to test whenever he needs to. The Agent
wonders how many other teams will buy their own test track.

DOING A LITTLE BRAGGING
Editor Jeff Burk asked the Agent to mention that his nephew,
Taylor Burk, has been awarded the Bronze Star for his actions
during combat in Baghdad. A U.S. Army medic, the younger
Burk also received a Purple Heart in April. After recovering
from his wound stateside, Burk is now back in Iraq.
The Agent joins the proud uncle in hoping that Taylor
and all the rest of the U.S. military currently in harm's
way in Iraq and Afghanistan will be home with their families
soon. [12-3-2004]
