PSCA WORLD FINALS

As the 2005 drag racing season winds down, the Pacific Street Car Association held the Edelbrock World Finals at California Dragway. Great weather and a good turnout of racecars made for some strong action on the dragstrip.

PRO STREET


In Pro Street Ed Thornton of Chino Hills, CA, driving his twin turbo '57 Chevy met Monte Berney in the final. Thornton took with win with a 6.698/216.62 mph charge to Berney's 6.995/201.85 mph. Thornton and his team took home the PSCA Pro Street championship for the third year in a row.


Monte Berney qualified second with a career best 6.96 having made the switch to a new set of Hoosier slicks is his beautiful '55 shoebox.

CSK nitro Funny Car owner Chuck Worsham helped his friends Randy and Jeremy Hanger get their Studebaker Pro Street down the track.
