One More to Go
With one race left in the All Harley Drag Racing Association season, many of the championships are all wrapped. Here is some action from the California Bike Week Nationals Nov. 9-10 at the Fairplex in Pomona, CA.
Willie G. Davidson (right) was on hand, seen here congratulating Destroyer champ L.E. Tonglet. Tonglet eked out a close win over Ronnie Fensick, 9.256/8141.50 to Fensick’s 9.368/141.43, but had a commanding points lead over Douglas Horne.
Doug Vancil’s 6.340/218.48 got the final round win over 2006 Top Fuel champ Mike Romine’s 6.429/212.23.
Does the fact that he’s from Sturgis give Mike Romine any advantage?
