After a long absence from the atmosphere of the lovely scent of burning nitro and rubber the DRO staff took off to the warmer climes of Firebird International in Phoenix, AZ. for  the annual NHRA “sanctioned” National Time Trials. We sent our crack staff of freelance photographers to Charlie Allen’s newly re-concreted track to record the events.
They came up with some great photography including the all-important “fuel cars at night” shots. We also documented John Force’s first drive since his accident last year.
