Larry Dixon tied Joe Amato for second on the NHRA Top Fuel wins list by racing to his 52nd career victory Sunday, May 16, at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway. Dixon maintains his lead in the Top Fuel points chase. Robert Hight, Jeg Coughlin Jr., and Andrew Hines won Funny Car, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle at Atlanta, but all remain in third place in their respective classes. Coughlin picked up his 50th national event win.
