After about a year away from racing to rebuild, Kelly Bluebaugh from Phoenix, AZ not only qualified number one with an ET 6.37 @ 221.0 MPH, he won the final against the points leader, Randy Walker.  Walker would leave first, but at the top end it would be Bluebaugh, in his Magna Fuel Monte Carlo with an RT of .0651--6.4293, and an ET of 219.51 MPH to Walker’s slowing .0413 RT, and 8.7866 ET @ 100.11 MPH.

With the Betty Boop thermometer at the Reflections Of... trailer reading a steamy 117 degrees at 3 pm, after the events final of Pro Street, the beer flowing at the Walker’s trailer was nice and cold.  Even though he lost the race, Walker’s back to back Championships gave the team something to celebrate.  Congratulations to the team of Walker Racing.
