I have a 1998 Pontiac Trans Am with a bone stock LS1 motor.   I am going to start building up the motor and turn it into a drag car.  I want to start with the exaust but don't now what brand or setups to use.  There are alot of different brands out there.

If you could help me with picking a brand and what I should buy that would help alot.

Thanks.

Max,

Thanks for the question. Hedman Hedders (www.hedman.com) has what you need. Part #66534 is a full length, stepped tube design with 1 1/2" to 1 5/8" primaries and a 3 in. collector.

These will provide great torque along with top end power. If you go too large you will sacrifice too much torque for a slight increase ,at a higher rpm, in horsepower.

Hope this helps,
Jay
