Chris Hall

One racer who is undoubtedly glad he had the wherewithal to stay through to Monday was Chris Hall from Brigham City, Utah.  Hall not only took the title in the Pro Class, but with that win he would qualify for the Run-Off, where the winners from Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, and the Sled/Bike class ran off for a nice check and prizes.

In the finals, Hall faced off against John Floyd from Gresham, Oregon, who made it through the Heavy Class.  But this one was all Hall, as he went .004 on the tree and took the Grand Prize.

So after six days of racing and fun, Hall heads back to Utah with a big smile on his face, having survived the Marathon of Fun known as the Halloween Classic.

On one final note, our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Dan Wheldon.

Wheldon was a true champion in motorsports.  Even though he was not a drag racer, he was a racer nonetheless, and a bright star in the motorsports world.

When something like this happens, it affects everyone in the motorsports world.

Godspeed, Dan Wheldon.
