Nostalgia Super Stock

Kurt Neighbor was in a tight contention with Doug Duell and Steve Wilson for the championship coming into this race – all within about a hundred points. With double points at the series finale, even Doug Poskevich had a chance at the championship title, despite being fourth. Neighbor hacked his way through five rounds until he met D.W. Hopkins in the final.

This was literally the last pair of cars to go down the track and when the lights dropped, Neighbor got the holeshot, a .043 and ran a 9.32 to his 9.25 dial, running within his index. Unfortunately, D.W. Hopkins stabbed the brakes a bit hard, locking them up and causing his car to get loose, tapping Neighbor who, despite a hard crash, got the event win - beating out Doug Duell and Steve Wilson for the 2011 Indy Cylinder Head Nostalgia Super Stock championship.

Ignite Racing Fuels Pro E85

Rob “Mr. Z” Keller won the whole pile in this unique class where the spec fuel is limited to E85 and other ethanol-based swill. Keller managed to take down Terry “Get Dusted” Cladeomotte in the final round by running a 9.10 on a 8.90 dial, which was closer than Cladeomotte's run giving him the victory.

TREMEC True Street

Chris Bishir won True Street in his S10 pickup by running a killer 9.05 average and in the LSX True Street class, David Childress took the overall win with his 9.03 average.
