In Open Comp Daniel Marciano had a reaction time of 0.011 making him number one qualifier. He would end his day holding on the number one position but improving his time to a 0.001. Eric Chesleigh started his day with a reaction time of 0.019 putting him in the second qualifying spot but he wouldn't hold it long as Doug Crumlich, who had an initial reaction time of 0.051, would improve to a 0.002 in the third round of qualifying. Theodore Logan would round out the top three at the end of the day with a 0.005.
