The Seventh Annual Street Car SuperNationals at the Strip in Las Vegas came of age with this year becoming arguably the premiere Street Car race when Carl Weisinger both downsizing and changed the date for the World Street Car Nationals.  The Street Car SuperNationals this year featured most of the quickest and fastest Pro Street an “Ten wide” cars from both Coasts.

This year legendary street car racers such as Shannon “iceman” Jenkins, Troy Coughlin, Joe LePone,  Billy Glidden, Mike Maggio and Brad Brand were among the nearly four hundred race teams that filled the pits. With racers of that caliber the fans and racers were expecting not only the quickest and fastest fields of the year but also for record to fall. Thanks to Brad Brand, Billy Glidden, and Mike Maggio the racers and fans got exactly what they were expecting including the first ever five-second quarter-mile pass by a “Ten Wide”  Star Brad Brand!
