Even after a week’s weather delay, the racing returned to legendary Auto Club Famoso Raceway to complete the 2011 March Meet over the weekend.  

The majority of the Top Fuel show returned to Famoso, with the opening pass of the day from Rick White’s bye-run 5.659 ET at 261.37 mph showing the week off paid dividends going into eliminations. (Darr Hawthorne photo)

When it came to the final round, it was down to White versus perennial final round competitor and #2 qualifier Brett Harris with White’s Hansen-chassied dragster crossing the finish line first running a 5.707 ET at 259.21 mph to Harris’ 5.783 ET 251.34 mph. (James Drew photo)
