Queensland Kawasaki rider, Peter Cochrane has had better meetings, as after two tries, he qualified last in the Pro Stock Bike bracket with a 7.749. He faced top qualifier Bob Shaw on a Suzuki in the first frame and after taking off on the green saw his bike break in the first 60 feet ending his day early.
