Like Charman, Christian Jager is a past Funnybike standout (taking the Euro Funnybike Cup in 2010) who has moved over to fuel for 2011. The Black Seven team have purchased Gunther Sohn’s 6.5 second PRP Weekend Frame Harley, and a solid performance over the weekend bodes well for the German rider as he embarks on the UEM European tour in Super Twin action.

It almost goes without saying that ACU Super Street Bike produced another stunning display of performance and close racing with the first seven second bump spot being achieved (and it wasn’t by a whisker with Richard Hann in at 7.883 as the 16th qualifier), and class veteran Graham Dance returned to the top of the heap with his turbo/nitrous old school Suzuki combo blew his PB into the dust, as well as a fair few Hayabusas, ending up with the event trophy (over Wayne Saunders) and the second UK SSB into the 7.2s with a stunning 7.277/192.23 defeat of Saunders’ Pro Street Busa UK team mate Dave Holland.
