Smith was more than thankful for the help between rounds. 

“It was like the old days when somebody else is broke everybody else comes running to help. While we were changing the head gasket I looked back and all I could see was Rod’s crew and other people working on the rear end. It was great.”

Burbage was proud of his crew too. “Somebody said Lee is broke and the next thing I knew everybody was gone next door and changing the rear end in his car. My guys are like that, they charge in to help anybody.” 

The Pro Mods put on a good show and should even be better at the Nightfire Nationals in August.
