Come see the wild fire breathing, ground shaking, supercharged nitro fuel altered at Eddyville Raceway Park. Located just south of Oskaloosa, Iowa, ERP is hosting the 6th annual World Fuel Altered Nationals. Over 20 flaming, tire smoking, chassis twisting winged coupes and roadsters are expected to attend this thundering event.

This was the calling on the event posters and hand outs and on the internet this year. And boy, the fans were not disappointed.  This year was the largest crowd ever for the event.

With the Lucas on the Edge TV crew on hand to record the event, 2011 was finally the breakout year for the event. The pits and parking areas were at max capacity, filled with excited fans and racers. To top off the event, a dark horse came forth this year to surprise everyone. The usual favorites were left in the clutch dust by Harold Thompson of Waterford, Michigan on only his second return to Eddyville.
