Final

The final matched up the two strongest machines on the grounds with Clark in the blown Mustang versus Brown in the Twins Performance nitrous Pontiac GTO.

To add some fun to this great paring, and as a show of great sportsmanship, Chris Domino donned a pair of colorful short shorts and a Clark Brothers T-shirt and hat to come out and back up the new Champion from his burnout. The show of support was a hit with the fans and everyone on hand enjoyed it.

At the green Brown cut his best light of the evening, a .0454 getting a .03 advantage over Clark’s .0708 off the line. As the pair proceeded down track Brown pulled away and stopped the clocks at an effortless 4.00 at 175.10 mph to take the win while Clark followed at 4.25 at 143.72 for the runner up position for the event.

The Twins Performance team with Lawayne Brown piloting the orange Pontiac laid the groundwork for what may be in store next year flexing their muscles to take the last event title of the year. The Clark Brothers team with Eric Clark at the wheel persevered over the season going from leaving the sport at one point in the year to establishing new performance marks for the series and topping it all off with the 2012 Texas Automatic Outlaws Championship.
