It was Joe Lisa, Vernon, N.J., with the biggest run of his life taking on veteran racer Dan Fletcher, Churchville, N.Y., in the final round. Lisa left first in his ’68 Camaro and ran four-thousandths off his dial to defeat Fletcher, earning his first national event win of his career.  Lisa turned in a 10.724 at 120.81 to a too-quick 11.129/113.73 for Fletcher’s ‘69 Camaro.
