UEM Pro Stock Bike

Ulf Ögge was pretty grateful that only UEM Pro Stock Bike were able to complete a qualifying session on Saturday morning before the rain came in as this gave him the opportunity to vault from 5th to 1st on the sheets with a 7.104. The Bikeline Buell improved to a 7.100 on a first round bye and dipped into the 7.0s with a 7.084/189.04 to earn lane choice for the final after defeating Martin Bishop in the penultimate round. Ögge reversed the final round outcome from the previous event at Santa Pod with a 7.093 victory over Kalle Lyren’s Suzuki despite a frantic rush to reset the Gen2 clutch between rounds. “It feels great to be "back on track" again, and now we prepare to go fast in Finland and take out the European Record!”

Lyren’s weekend was a reasonably solid one although a tenth or so behind the 7.1s that took the event win in England. Teammate Elvira Karlsson lost out to Lyren’s 7.352 in the first round and then Timo Savolainen was an unexplained no-show for the semifinal. Ögge’s defeat of Kalle’s 7.233 redlighting effort left the Veidec rider one point behind in the championship chase at the conclusion of the meeting.
