The NHRA Pro Mod circuit sponsored by Roger Burgess’s ProCare Rx company started their own “Eastern Swing” with three races in 30 days starting June 1-3 at the venerable Englishtown, NJ, track followed by Bristol, Tenn., and wrapping up at Norwalk, Ohio, on the July 4th weekend. Whichever racer comes out of this three-race marathon with the most points could easily win the Championship.
 
Danny Rowe left Englishtown with his second consecutive ProCare RX win, vaulting him to the points lead by 30 points over Pro Mod nitrous racer Mike Castellana.

Rowe beat the turbocharged Camaro of resurgent racer Troy Coughlin, who had advanced to his first final round appearance of the 2012 season.

Rowe got an easy victory when Coughlin left early, turning on the red light and giving up the win. To his credit, Rowe ran his car hard to the finish line recording a 5.910 at 239.57 mph in his supercharged Sterling Bridge ’68 Camaro.

“Everything went as planned in the final round, it was just time to go in my head, I guess," Coughlin said after the race. "I looked at Danny's reaction time, I was like, 'Wow we could have ran like 6.10 and still won.' But it's over and we left before he was late. That may have thrown him off."
