Dutchman David Vegter picked up his second low qualifier spot of the year in FIA Pro Modified, although his 7.625/201 was way off the PB that carding the number one spot at the Main Event at Santa Pod. Only three of fifteen cars managed to record a time below eight seconds in the three qualifying sessions.

The teams in FIA Pro Stock Car were naturally concerned about conditions, with a crawl off the startline being considered the only option. Ulf Wagnhester’s 8.661 was the class low ET, and this was over a second better than the next spot on the ladder.

Having carded the first 5.5 in FIA Top Methanol Funny Car the meeting before last, a 6.835 was as good as Leif Andreasson could muster from the Disab Monte Carlo.
