UEM Pro Stock Bike

The championship chase at the end of the Pro Stock Bike season is brewing up nicely as Fredrik Fredlund and Ulf Ögge have renewed their battle royale that has dominated three of the last four seasons. Fredlund’s performance levels in the latter part of the year, and a string of three finals in a row has given the Åland-based rider a significant amount of momentum. With tuning assistance from Gary Stoffer on sight during the course of the weekend, a 7.025 took low qualifier points and lowered the European record, and a final round berth makes things seriously tight with the European Finals around the corner.

Ögge has hardly strung up the white flag though as a 7.065 was sub-Euro record pace prior to Fredlund nudging the mark four hundredths lower, and the Bikeline Buell rider would have had lane choice in the final thanks to a 7.117/189 victory over Elvira Karlsson at the semi-final stage. The points currently have less than an elimination round between the pair, but an added twist is the best five from six events counting this year in UEM competition and this one should go down to the wire.
