NSS Thunder at Spring Nationals

The weather prediction for Byron Dragway’s Spring Nations was for storms and rain on May 3-4, but luckily the weatherman was wrong again. Instead of rain, the race fans were treated to sunshine and exciting racing. For the second year in a row, the Victory Nostalgia Super Stock Association started their six-race season at Byron and were one of the star attractions for the Nationals.

Twenty-one NSS racers were on hand and when the dust settled from qualifying, Mr. 409, Charlie Kuenster, came out on top. The Wisconsin native earned the #1 position by running within 0.008 seconds of his class index.
