Matt Buck from Lantana, Fla., received a single in the first round when Jr. Ward leaked oil on his burnout and was shut off.

In the second round Buck put a holeshot on Mike Stawicki (shown) and ran 4.262/168.21 as Stawicki, from Medina, NY, shook the tires and pedaled it but couldn’t catch up with a 4.247/184.35.
