Fast doorslammer fans at the famous “Rock” witnessed an assault on the eighth-mile records that included a mind-boggling record-setting 3.485 qualifying effort by the Texas team of driver Frankie Taylor and tuner Paul Taylor. The fans also saw the first ever 220+ speed recorded in the eighth mile by a doorslammer when Eric Dillard drove the “El General” turbocharged Camaro to speeds of 219.97 and 221.07 to not only shatter that barrier but re-set the World Record. The fans also witnessed the first 200+ pass for a Pro Nitrous racecar courtesy of Jason Harris’s 200.05 qualifying laps -- and much more.

Also scoring PDRA pro class wins at Rockingham Dragway were Jason Harris (Switzer Dynamics Pro Nitrous), Cary Goforth (Aruba.com Extreme Pro Stock), Todd Tutterow (Precision Turbo/Proline Race Engines Pro Boost) and Eric McKinney (Pro Extreme Motorcycle).

Sportsman class wins went to Travis Harvey (Top Dragster), Stacy Hall (Top Sportsman), Connor Caulder (Huddleston Performance Pro Jr. Dragster) and Alexis Tanner (Huddleston Top Jr. Dragster).
