The only other Super Twin in the sixes was Martjin de Haas who blew his PB marks into the far distance with a 6.787/207; previously the MPM Oil team had a best of 7.065. With the confidence gained of being able to run with the pack, the Dutch brothers may well add to their solitary European level event win back in 2010.

Three time European PSB champion Fredrik Fredlund is looking to add a fourth (and third in a row) title, and with three of the top five from last year out of contention (Elvira Karlsson splitting her time between NHRA and Nordic activities, Kalle Lyren sticking to the latter and Ulf Ogge taking a year out having sold his Buell), a 7.062/186.59 gives the Åland based PAF Suzuki team a head start over the rest; of whom only Gert-Jan Laseur and Martin Bishop are likely to contend the whole series.
