Nevertheless, the track crew at YDS worked hard and got the track dried to allow a safe finish for the night’s racing.

A big shout out goes to Danielle Badette, who took on the duties of race control and did a fine job of keeping the event moving along while many of the McCarthy family were tending to their father. Danielle was the perfect example of perseverance.
