Although the event was rained out, the Yellowbullet.com Nationals held over the Labor Day weekend at Cecil County Raceway in Rising Sun, Maryland, must be seen as a portent of things to come and a welcome sign that drag racing is healthy.

For this event 567 racers came to compete in front of over 10,000 spectators according to Cecil County’s Jim Halsey.

Florida’s Robert Abbott got his ’02 Camaro a bit closer to the guardrail than he would have liked.
