OFAA Finals in Denton, Texas

Broussard Wins Finals; Jones Clinches Fourth Championship

The final event of the 2015 Painless Performance Products Outlaw Fuel Altered Association season brought the series back to North Star Dragway in Denton, Texas, for a special Halloween edition of the OFAA Championship Finals.

Entering the event, Jimmy Jones and the "Texas Tremor" team held a slim 10 point lead over red hot Donnie Massey and team "Showtime" as Massey had made a major move to the number two spot after three consecutive final round appearances and two wins. Points battles amongst the other teams were hot as racers had one event left to secure their spots in the top five.

It was a chilly, cloudy, somewhat spooky evening in North Texas but that didn't stop the OFAA teams from dressing up for the occasion and certainly didn't stop the fans from participating in the fun as costumes and trick or treaters were bountiful in the pit area. Spectators were even treated to a custom built haunted house in the "Magic Dragon" team pit area of the Austin family that was a hit with the kiddos. The back-up girls were dressed head to toe and ready for the show as the call went out for the first of two qualifying sessions to begin with thirteen cars on the property ready for action.
