Other notables

Whilst the focus of these reports naturally focuses on the FIA/FIM-E championships, we’d like to wrap this one picking out some of the other activities over the weekend, including Kevin Kent and the West Ten Mustang wrapping up a championship in the European Nitro Funny Car Series by lighting the win light over John Spuffard in the event final.

A lot of the headlines elsewhere included the always spectacular Topspeed Automotive Street Eliminator class which was rounded out by a pretty special trophy decider with Mark Todd prevailing over Steve Neimantas in the quickest race in class history with the GTO producing a 7.3680 to the Bentley’s 7.3960/206.25 (no legit speed being recorded in Todd’s lane).
