Vance & Hines 4.60 featured two first-time finalists in the world’s quickest motorcycle index class, with Kevin White taking the win over Michael Ostrowski. White gave up .031 at the tree in the short eighth mile class, but Ostrowski fell short of hitting the index. Number 1 qualifier Durwood Rawlings didn’t make the call to start eliminations.
Despite losing the 4.60 final, defending FBR Shop 5.60 champion Ostrowski took that final over Shayne Proctor in a wheelie bar (Ostrowski) vs. no-bar race. Proctor also runner-upped toPhilly area native Richard Gadson (Rickey’s nephew) on Mike Belo’s 1-Stop Speed ‘Busa in Sunday’s Brock’s Performance Street ET race. Richard was also the 5.60 number 1 qualifier.
