Let Bruno Massel dig deep into the technical side of Pro Stock. The most

knowledgeable fans want more of that class. It is the only pro class with any meaning for the manufacturers and it is horribly misunderstood. Obviously, there are plenty of changes to discuss. Lastly, Bruno is clearly the man for that assignment.

Thanks,

Tom Tourek

My personal opinion only, replace Dave Rieff. He’s unprofessional, biased and doesn’t know when to shut up. Find the next Steve Evans or Chris Economaki – but he’s not it.

The biggest issue I will have is that we get ESPN on Sky TV over here but as far as I can find we don't get the Fox network, unless it's via the internet (which isn't that great where I live). It would be interesting to know what the coverage is for Fox around the world in different countries, surely the NHRA is trying for an audience outside of the USA as well? As you know, drag racing extends past your borders and we buy a lot of equipment from State side.

I could really get wound up over this, 59 yrs. old, grew up Southern Ca., Irwindale, Lions, Orange County, Pomona, and Ontario, 1 more Ascot Park.

1.) Friday night live qualifying would be good to bring back.

2.) Show a ¼-mile race.

3.) Have more than 17 cars qualify.

4.) That’s about it, no real (smoky) burnouts, no dry hop f----ing around at start, drivers don’t do much anymore.

5.) The sport is really kind of dull now with 15 clutch discs, 25-30 spark plugs, 2-3 mags, don’t even know what car bodies, 3 owners.

6.) Basically I have loved this sport since I was 12 years old, I still keep tabs on it with your site & NHRA site, not sure why. I really don’t know what to do, all I can think about is 25-30 cars showing up for a 16-car show on Saturday night and watching races not the crap on TV at 1:00 a.m. west coast time.

7.) Slow the cars down, run a 1/4 mile with speed, more guys with more cars.

8.) I really don’t see the negative, sponsorship would get more value, tracks make money, we see more cars, maybe drivers would rise to the top where we would have to give them nicknames again.

9.) I knew I’d get lathered up if I sent you an email.

Thanks

There was nothing wrong with their prior coverage. Every race was live and available anytime. I don't have cable or dish, but I was able to watch every race on ESPN3.com. Now I can't as I don't think that Fox Sports has that. My suggestion to NHRA is to bring back live internet coverage.

Also as already stated on the internet many times over, they need to listen to the fans. What was not broken need not be fixed. Replacing Mike Dunn with Tony Pedregon was a mistake. Mike has been the color commentator since Steve Evans. Both are irreplaceable. The fans are going to miss Mike and don't think that Tony will do the job. So bring back Mike Dunn.

Please pass on the suggestion for drone shots to the NHRA team. Small 4 or 6 rotor crafts can now record and transmit HD video. The shots could be similar to what we used to see from a blimp, but with drone technology it can be done at much lower costs I'm sure.

And thanks for asking.
