Reigning IHRA Nitro Motorcycle World Champion Jay Turner sported a new motorcycle over the weekend and looked to be continuing his dominant performance from last year as he qualified in the No. 1 position, setting Low ET and Top Speed at 6.263 and 227.46 mph.

Rickey House and Randal Andras rounded out the top-three qualifiers in the class followed by Bob Malloy, Tii Tharpe, Mike Beland, Frank Capone, and Jake Stordeur.

Newcomer Stordeur took the class by surprise as he defeated Turner in the first round of eliminations and Malloy in he second. He eventually ended up going into the final round with Turner's teammate, Randal Andras.
