Tom Kohlmonger restored the much traveled ‘Law of the Land’ Gasser that was last seen in action at the Byron, Ill., Nostalgia Gasser event. The beautiful ’56 Chevy is powered by a 468 cubic inch big block Chevy with an old style Edelbrock Cross Ram manifold.

The criteria for ‘Rust’ is 1965 and earlier vehicles. And many were ’49-54 Chevy pickups of all types and stages. We felt the nicest belonged to Mark Hahn. It is a ’51 five window that reminded us of Ken Spears’ truck in Las Vegas.

We met this gentleman inside Reed’s on Saturday and cannot find the notes we made. His half restored P/U is another rare classic, a 1941 International. Good job!
