Greg Anderson made it nine of nine for KB Racing with his win over Allen Johnson at the rain-delayed NHRA New England Nationals in Epping, New Hampshire. It was Anderson’s fourth victory of the 2016 season, his second at New England Dragway, and the 82nd of his career.

With a red light V. Gaines handed him the first-round win, as did Alex Laughlin in round two. In the semifinal, teammate Jason Line ran 6.620 at 210.14 mph, but could not catch Anderson’s 6.618/209.46.

In his 131st career final round, Anderson raced past Allen Johnson for the win, 6.598/210.44 to Johnson’s 6.673/208.71.

Drew Skillman abruptly moved from the Elite Motorsports team to Gray Motorsports in the week before Epping began. He lost in the first round wih a 6.668/207.88 to Vincent Nobile’s 6.630/209.23. (Ron Lewis photo)
