The eliminations ladder for FIA/MSA Pro Modified didn’t make for pretty reading for the domestic contingent as only Kevin Slyfield and Philip ‘Bert’ Englefield made it past the opening round before falling at the quarter-final stage; Bert having the consolation of Personal Bests on consecutive runs, first in taking out David Vegter with a 6.294/221.15 before a nudge quicker with a 6.282/226.92 in a losing effort from the BA Racing ’38 Ford against low qualifier (at 5.946/234.08) Bruno Bader.
