The racers of the Victory NSS Series continued their battle for the championship crown at Eddyville Raceway’s Midwest Nostalgia Nationals. They were greeted by the always beautiful eighth-mile facility and friendly staff of Eddyville Raceway but also hot summer temperatures. The heat did not cool the spirit of the Super Stock Racers though. Thirty-two classic Super Stocks entered the class and quickly began Qualifying.

After four rounds of Qualifying, Buck Schooler and his immaculate 1965 Plymouth earned the Muscle Motors #1 Qualifier.

Fellow Missouri racer Steve Stahlschmidt took the Brewers Performance #1 Mopar Award while Mike Volkart was the #1 GM Racer. Jim Kroeger’s awesome .008 RT gave him the Kramer Automotive Top Gun Award.
