A disappointing entry for the final event of the Funny Car series, there are more to come next year and hopefully some of those that have sporadically appeared this will be in a position to add some thunder as well. Kevin Kent may have red lit away the best flopper number of 4.2974/287.71 in the final, gifting the event win to Gordon Smith, but the West Ten team had already done enough to take the overall 2016 title.
