When quick adjustment to launch RPMs is needed, use the easy-to-attach remote switch. It has been great for testing different launch RPMs.

We set launch RPM at 4000 for the test day and shift RPM at 6800. The burnout RPM limit is set at 5800 until we get used to the power of the Indy Bracketmaster 540. MSD’s Heli-Coil wires wrap up the ignition package. All the RPM limits and timing can be changed by simply plugging the laptop into the port on the ignition. I also want to thank Dragstar for the easy to use access door in front of the windscreen.

We decided to start the season off running the Indy BracketMaster on race gas. This means the cooling system is important and we wanted the best electric pump we could find. We contacted CSI and ordered one of their billet water pumps. A direct bolt on to our Mopar (I mean it actually fit the first time!). We also got the CSI aluminum recovery tank so any coolant that was pushed out of the system would be pulled back in when the engine cooled off. The electric motor is a continuous use motor with sealed bearings so it will be a trouble-free unit. While I was in the CSI catalog (which I received by ordering it for free on dragracingonline.com) I decided to get the CSI Platinum Series Starter. It is a really small super quality piece and is spinning over the 14:1 compression 540” Mopar with no problems.
