The rear shorty kit is a bit of a change for us. We have used the “Extended Shorty” kit for the past several years but they add about $400.00 to the coast of a transmission. The 4-Link dragster only has about 3/8” driveshaft travel in and out so a regular shorty will work fine.

We got the TCI Top Dragster installed the other night and this is how we hooked up the trans-cooler lines. The lines are 8AN and will assure restriction free flow of the TCI transmission fluid.

Strange Engineering did their normal “killer” job on a new driveshaft for “Project 4-Link”. We needed a driveshaft that was 3.25” longer than the one we had for the extended shorty transmission. We are using their stainless 2-piece yoke and we had to shorten it by 1.25” so the u-joint was close to the bushing in the shorty kit.
