THE LOADED QUESTION - er

How 'bout them Cowboys!!! Man, do you guys have A/GS down. For the first time (or possibly second), we DRO-zers received more than one perfect response. Geoff Stunkard got everybody out of the hole and gets the biscuit, but guys like Terence M. Shivers, Gary Wright, Bob Plumer and Steve Kamei all went six for six.

So, what does this mean? No more quizzes.

Nah, we'll step it up just a tad. Since multiple choice seems to be the multitude choice, we'll go with that form one more time.

This month's quiz is called Random Selection, and it goes something like this:

a. Shirley Muldowney             b. Gene Snow
c. Frank Bradley                    d. Don Prudhomme

c. Don Garlits                d. Denver Schut

3. The winningest IHRA nitro Funny Car racer was:

a. Mark Oswald              b. Raymond Beadle

and the tiebreaker is

6. Only one time in history did a Top Gas dragster run a year's best speed over a fuel dragster. (Admittedly, this is controversial, but it's a fairly well known accomplishment.) The year was 1962, the speed was 202.70-mph, the racer was:

a. John Kranenberg          b. Eddie Hill
c. Jack Chrisman              d. Chuck Gireth
