Las Vegas, Goldstrom’s Car Exhibit 2014: The popular ‘Wild Thang’ Fuel Altered Coupe put on a stellar show for the large crowd gathered at the Goldstrom complex just a couple of clicks south of the Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Exeter, Ca. Dave & Karen Smith’s 50th Golden Anniversary: Daughters Rachel & Lauren put this awesome collage together for the gala celebration at the Women’s Club in Exeter on November 29, 2014. After spending most of a decade racing with the Smiths, there were several great memories for me too. Folks from the mid-west should remember that Dave, a Jerseyville, Ill. High graduate, worked for John Story at Alton Dragway as the chief starter before moving to California and finding Karen.
