Vintage ’55 Chevys will never go out of style, and one of the best in Southern Nevada is Ted McClure’s ‘Yosemite Sam’. It is a C Gasser with all the tricks, including a three inch chopped top. The paint job is extreme as are the many customized appointments.

The national status of Las Vegas drag racing was given a tremendous boost in 2015 by Justin Lamb and his armada of championship class racers. Lamb started the ‘15 season with a Comp Eliminator victory at the NHRA Arizona Nationals. He then won and doubled up National as well as Divisional races. Finally, toward the end of the season the talented driver from Henderson, Nevada, won several Super Stock titles and the NHRA National Championship in S/S.
