Check Out That Chassis

We're getting ready to build a 74 vega---it has all the vintage conversion parts for the front end, but we need to cage and back-half the car. We've got everything but subframe connectors and can't find them anywhere---do we scratchbuild? Please advise, thanks

William Colbert

William,

You have asked the right guy, we make a frame rail kit and connecters for a Vega. And we have them in stock give us a call.

I have a 4-link car and when I try to do a burn out the car wants to turn clockwise, so I have to let out. Will pre load effect the burn out? Thanks.

Joey Searcy

Joey,

Yes preload will affect the burnout some, but if it won’t sit still in the water then I would look at your front brake pressures and make shore the two front wheels have equal pressure. Strange has a real nice brake pressure gauge that screws in to your bleeder hole on the caliper.
