FUELforTHOUGHT

Dave,

Is it normal for my fuel preasure on my carb and nitrous fuel selenoid to go from 7 1/4 lb to over 10 lbs in a 1/8 mile run?

Tom,

While there will always be some variation usually only seen by a data logger, a constantly rising situation is not cool when using an electric pump and/or nitrous.

While the easy answer is that it is time to check or change the regulator, there is one question that needs addressed.

Do you run an alternator and do you set your regulator without the engine running?
If so, you are dealing with 2 different voltage levels and that changes the pump speed.
Something to look into anyway.

Have a safe race,
