WET ‘N WILD

Wish there was more pictures. I love drag boat racing. Explains why, since I grew up around it. Thanks for putting it on this web.

WAITING FOR THE OTHER SHOE TO DROP

Jeff, I see Doug Herbert has Poynter coming as crew chief. This is good as long as it lasts, but if I was Poynter, I would rent for a while. Herbert goes through crew chiefs like I go through socks & shorts.

I just read about a new dragster being built with a new cockpit area, I hope this is really researched out, and NHRA and IHRA allow the items.
I can hardly wait for the new Force car either. If you get wind of anything, let me know, or us know, however it is allowed to go.

Good work, thanks!

WAITING FOR THE GOODGUYS

I live within one hour of Cordova and Union Grove; I would love it if Goodguys come to both tracks. I think they would do well here.

OR ANY NOSTALGIA EVENT

In my opinion, the fans at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, Wisconsin, would welcome and support any kind of nostalgia event put on by the "Goodguys" or others.

It is hard to say why there are not more shows of this kind in the Midwest.

SAYING GOODBYE TO GOULD

Thank you for mentioning the passing of Chris Gould at the NHRA Citrus Nationals.

He was an avid racer, and one of our own, and just doing what he loved to do. I had a brief conversation with him on the day before he died, and he was telling me of his plans for 2008.

He was very cordial even when people asked him difficult or ridiculous questions, and will be surely missed.

God speed, Chris.
