CRANE Zcams FOR 3-VALVE FORD SOHC 4.6-5.4L MODULAR ENGINES

The cams are precision machined from all-new steel billet bar stock, heat-treated and carburized. They are far superior to OEM cams, which feature powdered metal lobes that are pressed on to a steel tube. Zcams are manufactured in Crane’s Daytona Beach facility under stringent quality control procedures, and are unsurpassed in accuracy and finish.

Initially offered in four popular grinds, they range from a smooth-idling, torque-oriented 256/272° .468/.516” lift model to an aggressive, rough-idling 284/300° .552/.600” lift thumper that is designed for modified engines and drivetrains. They can be used with OEM cam followers, however use of Crane’s #37830-24 high performance valve springs and #39660-24 retainers is required. Custom grinds are also available upon request.

ART MORRISON 3-LINK REAR SUSPENSION CLIP

The frame rails are CAD-engineered for the specific year/make/model vehicle and mandrel-formed from 2” x 4” rectangular tubing, then fixture-welded to assure perfect alignment of all suspension components. Superior handling is assured through use of a 3-link bar setup working in tandem with a Watts linkage, sway bar, and adjustable coil-overs. The system provides excellent forward and lateral control, and can be fine-tuned to optimize the entire handling package.

The 3-link rear suspension clip also features a 9” Ford housing, which provides outstanding durability and the industry’s widest range of ring & pinion gear options. The modified housing serves as a central pivot for the Watts linkage, as well as the anchor for the three link bars. A variety of housing ends are offered, allowing use of most any desired rear brake setup.

Other features of the 3-link clip include a built-in driveshaft safety loop with triangulated braces and three crossmembers. The design effectively stiffens the chassis and improves overall handling.
