POMONA PHOTOS
DRO staff photographer Tim Marshall had the assignment
of shooting the just completed NHRA Winternationals. We told him to
do it from a different perspective and we think he succeeded in doing
that. Here is just part of the many photos Tim took at the event, plus
one from Zak Hawthorne.

| If Cruz had gone as fast as Tim's pan blur
shot, he would have probably been in the Winner's Circle instead
of John Force. |

| Scotty's new paint is in keeping with the
Mad Scientist theme that he had last year. The guy painted on the
front of the car could probably use a throat lozenge we'd bet. |

| Wyatt Radke qualified for the quick 16 Top
Fuel field but he did have one flamer where he pushed the head gaskets
out. He still drove it the full 1320 -- DRO's kind of driver. |

| Scott Weiss got a sponsorship for the event
from Racegirl apparel for the event. Leave it to Tim to miss the
action but not the girls. |
