Looking for some advice. I just bought a TCI street fighter TH350. The TCI instructions (not much info) say to run all kickdown linkage etc.

Can I run without the TV cable set up as long as I run the tranny manually?

Jake,

Yes you can run your 350 without the kickdown cable with no adverse effects. The only thing that you might notice is that in automatic mode the 2-3 shift may be a little early. You will want to be sure to hook up the vacuum modulator even though you are manually shifting the modulator will drop pressures at light throttle to help the transmission last longer.
