When the powerglide in my alky injected dragster shifts, the trans. acts like there is no high gear, and the RPM's goes to the limiter. The trans. has been rebuilt twice by two different people, and I still have the same problem. What is your solution? Gary Spence Dayton OH

Sometimes seemingly simple problems become more complicated than we might think. This particular case should be simple either we don't have fluid pressure for high gear or we don't have a mechanical hook up between the input shaft and the output shaft.

Strange problems like this is why we have a transmission dyno at our shop. We run each
transmission before it leaves so we know all the gears are there when it leaves our door!

Your rebuilders haven't dug in deep enough to find your problem!
